***Position Summary***
The Actuarial Analyst will be responsible for organizing, analyzing, and investigating Healthmap Solutions data.
***Responsibilities***
* Compile and organize healthcare data * Analyze data to assist in developing optimal care management and decision making * Use healthcare data to assist in administrative and operational goals * Investigate data to find patterns and trends * Utilize different data sources for analysis * Develop reports and presentations * Communicate analytics insights to management * Build Models and analyzing data to unearth trends and patterns * Delve into data to discover discrepancies and patterns * Suggest ways to both increase healthcare quality and lower costs * Collaborate with management and internal teams to implement and evaluate improvements
***Requirements***
* Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Finance, Management information systems or other related focus * A minimum of 1\-3 years of recent experience in: Excel (Visualization, Pivot Tables, Summarizing), Database manipulation in SQL (Updates, Joins, Data types), Financial Analysis (Trending vs. Actual), Working with Project Managers and Technical Groups * Prior experience with large data * Prior experience with healthcare data within health plan or vendor environment

* Familiarity with Health Plan financial data, PMPM, Per Thousand, Enrollment * Operational analytical skills * Budget and forecasting skills * Detail oriented
