The Group of Artificial Intelligence is looking for a **Scientific Assistant (f/m/d) Junior Helmholtz.AI Consultant.**
**Your tasks**

* Design, Test, Training, Evaluation/Benchmarking and Use + of computer vision\-based AI systems + of tabular\-data based AI systems * Presentation and Communication of Results at international conferences and in peer\-reviewed journals * Developing Methods for Explaining AI\-Based Predictions
**Your profile**
----------------
* Completed university studies (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) in Computer Sciences, in the field of Natural Sciences, or related fields * Experience and knowledge + in supervised learning computer vision architectures (Unet, StarDist, Cellpose, CPN, nnUnet, SAM, Dino, Yolo) + in machine learning benchmarking and evaluation metrics + in tabular machine learning (scikit\-learn, xgboost) + in reproducible scientific programming and data science + in FAIR data management + in use of HPC resources + with methods of explainability of computer vision models * A self\-organized, creative approach to work, as well as a communicative, tolerant, and resilient personality with a strong sense of curiosity * Fluent English proficiency, German proficiency considered beneficial
