Senior DUA Credit Control Analyst - London


HFG are currently partnering with a leading specialty insurance business who are looking to appoint a Senior DUA Credit Control Analyst into their central finance operations team.

The role will take ownership of credit control activity across delegated authority business, with a strong focus on premium reconciliation, bordereaux analysis, aged debt and stakeholder management. The successful candidate will work closely with brokers, coverholders, underwriting and finance teams to ensure premium is received, allocated and reconciled accurately.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and monitoring outstanding premium across delegated authority business
  • Reconciling written, signed and settled premium bordereaux
  • Investigating premium variances, missing declarations and allocation issues
  • Following up outstanding balances with brokers and coverholders
  • Supporting cash allocation and premium reconciliation activity
  • Producing regular credit control reporting, KPIs and performance information
  • Identifying recurring issues and opportunities to improve processes and controls
  • Maintaining accurate process documentation to support governance and audit requirements
  • Building strong relationships across underwriting, finance, brokers, coverholders and wider market stakeholders

We are keen to speak with candidates who have:

  • Previous Delegated Authority / Delegated Underwriting experience within the London Market
  • Good knowledge of bordereaux, binders, coverholders, lineslips and delegated authority processes
  • Experience analysing premium or bordereaux data and identifying discrepancies
  • A strong understanding of how the Lloyd's and London Insurance Market operates
  • Good Excel capability, including lookups, pivot tables and data analysis
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to take ownership of workload and deadlines

Candidates from a Delegated Authority Analyst / Delegated Underwriting Analyst background will also be considered where they have strong technical DUA knowledge and exposure to premium and bordereaux analysis.

This would suit someone looking to take on broader ownership across DUA credit control, premium analysis and delegated authority operations within an established London Market business.
