About the Position
HFVCO is looking for an accomplished manufacturing leader to take ownership of plant performance within a food or beverage production environment. The Plant Manager will guide department leadership, oversee financial and operational results, and establish priorities that strengthen safety, product quality, output, reliability, and cost performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct plant-wide activities across production, maintenance, quality, warehousing, shipping, and safety
- Establish performance expectations and monitor KPIs for safety, quality, service, productivity, and operating costs
- Own facility financial performance, including budgeting, expense control, P&L results, and capital investments
- Develop department managers and supervisors through coaching, accountability, and performance management
- Lead operational improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, equipment utilization, waste reduction, and plant performance
- Maintain compliance with GMPs, sanitation programs, food safety standards, workplace safety requirements, and applicable regulations
- Coordinate and support customer, corporate, and regulatory inspections and audits
- Identify operational challenges, implement corrective actions, and ensure improvements are sustained
Qualifications
- 8+ years of manufacturing experience, with food or beverage manufacturing strongly preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership or management experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience with facility budgets, cost management, operational metrics, and financial performance
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement practices
- Working knowledge of GMPs, sanitation, food safety, and regulatory compliance
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop manufacturing teams
- Strong communication, judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Pay: $130,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
