JOB SUMMARY: Under the general direction of the administrators, teachers will provide educational experiences for the “whole child”-- including subject-matter and skills that facilitate a child’s growth into a mature and capable adult. Teachers will prepare and execute full teaching plans according to the school’s requirements. Teachers will adhere to the staff code of conduct and act as excellent role models for students.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school diploma with previous experience teaching preschool children. Child development associates, CDA, preferred.
Preferred Experience: Previous early childhood teaching experience preferred.

Differentiate lessons when needed to give all students access to the curriculum regardless of ability, instructional level, English proficiency or level of interest in the subject.

Maintain a safe, orderly and supportive classroom by modeling expected behavior and standards and promoting positive interactions.
