About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Mobile Development Intern who is enthusiastic about building high-quality mobile applications for Android and iOS. The candidate will work closely with our development team to design, develop, test, and maintain mobile applications using React Native, TypeScript, and Kotlin.
This role offers hands-on experience in mobile application development, debugging, API integration, performance optimization, and cross-platform development.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in developing and maintaining mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript.
* Contribute to Android application development using Kotlin.
* Build reusable UI components and implement responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
* Integrate REST APIs and work with backend services.
* Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA engineers.
* Debug issues, fix bugs, and improve application performance.
* Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards and best practices.
* Assist with application testing, deployment, and release preparation.
* Learn and implement mobile development best practices, including secure data handling and efficient state management.
* Explore native mobile capabilities and platform-specific integrations where required.
Required Skills
* Basic understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript.
* Familiarity with React Native and its core components.
* Basic knowledge of Kotlin and Android development fundamentals.
* Understanding of mobile application architecture and component-based development.
* Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous programming.
* Basic knowledge of Git and version control.
* Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
Good-to-Have Skills
* Basic knowledge of Swift and native iOS development.
* Familiarity with Xcode and iOS application development.
* Experience with Android Studio and Xcode development environments.
* Understanding of state management libraries such as Redux or Zustand.
* Familiarity with Firebase, push notifications, and local storage.
* Knowledge of mobile app testing, debugging, and app store deployment processes.
* Academic projects, personal projects, or contributions to open-source mobile applications.
Education
* Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
