About the Role
Bridge global innovation between Japan and Vietnam. Hitachi Digital Services is hiring a skilled Bridge Software Engineer (BrSE) to act as the primary technical liaison, aligning Japanese enterprise clients with our software engineering teams for flawless project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Communication: Serve as the direct liaison for Japanese clients, translating complex technical requirements and business processes fluently in Japanese.
- Specification & Architecture: Clarify user stories, prepare technical documentation, and ensure dev teams accurately interpret system specifications.
- Project Delivery & PM: Coordinate sprint progress, handle issue investigations, manage delivery timelines, and resolve technical blockers.
- System Enhancement: Support production maintenance, change requests, and post-launch improvements.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a BrSE, Technical Lead, or equivalent client-facing engineering role.
- Japanese Proficiency: Business/Fluent level (JLPT N2 or N1 required).
- Strong technical software engineering background with practical development knowledge.
- Proven track record working with Japanese enterprise clients or prior on-site experience in Japan.
- Nice to have: Experience in Data or Cloud Infrastructure projects; communicative English.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
