About the Role
Modernize global asset management operations. Hitachi Digital Services is hiring an IBM Maximo Functional Consultant (3–5 years) to configure, implement, and support mission-critical Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) platforms for international clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Discovery: Lead client workshops to capture maintenance processes and translate operational needs into clear functional designs.
- Module Configuration: Configure and optimize core IBM Maximo modules, including Work Management, Asset Management, Preventive Maintenance (PM), and Inventory.
- Testing & UAT Execution: Author test scripts, coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and resolve functional defects.
- Integration & Migration Support: Assist with Maximo reporting, data migration workflows, and system interface touchpoints.
- Training & Handoff: Develop user guides and deliver functional knowledge transfer to business users.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience as an IBM Maximo Consultant, Functional Analyst, or Application Specialist.
- Solid functional understanding of maintenance lifecycles, work orders, asset hierarchies, and inventory management.
- Proven experience supporting system testing, UAT, and production defect triage.
- Nice to have: IBM Maximo official certification; background in the Rail, Transportation, or Utilities sector.
- Professional English communication skills for working with global stakeholders.
