About the Role
Drive international software transformation. Hitachi Digital Services is hiring a Senior Japanese IT Business Analyst (5+ years) to partner directly with Japanese enterprise stakeholders, translating complex business goals into clear technical solutions and high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Elicitation: Lead discovery workshops with Japanese and international stakeholders to define user stories, process flows, and business rules.
- Specification & Design: Author comprehensive Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), interface constraints, and interactive UI/UX wireframes.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the strategic communication bridge between Japanese clients and engineering teams.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate closely with Project Managers to review deliverables, monitor quality, and validate user acceptance.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as an IT Business Analyst working directly with external clients.
- Language Proficiency: Japanese business fluency (JLPT N2 or N1 required) + strong English communication skills.
- Solid grasp of fundamental software development lifecycle (SDLC) concepts.
- Proven track record in user story mapping, mockups, and client-facing presentations.
- Bonus: Domain experience in Supply Chain Management (SCM) or logistics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
