HiveRift is looking for a capable and execution-focused HR Manager / HR Generalist who can independently manage recruitment, employee operations, performance management, HR policies, and day-to-day people processes.
We are a growing technology company, so we need someone who is comfortable working in a fast-moving environment and can build systems rather than only follow existing processes.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing end-to-end recruitment across multiple departments
- Hiring for Sales, Development, Digital Marketing, SEO, HR, Operations and other roles
- Sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, referrals and other platforms
- Screening resumes and conducting first-round interviews
- Coordinating interviews with department heads and management
- Managing offer letters, joining formalities and onboarding
- Maintaining employee records and HR documentation
- Managing attendance, leaves and employee databases
- Coordinating payroll inputs with accounts/management
- Managing probation reviews and confirmation processes
- Handling employee grievances and day-to-day HR issues
- Supporting employee retention and engagement initiatives
- Managing exits, full-and-final coordination and exit interviews
Recruitment Ownership
This role requires strong recruitment capabilities.
You should be able to:
- Understand job requirements from department heads
- Write effective job descriptions
- Create candidate sourcing strategies
- Maintain an active hiring pipeline
- Screen candidates for communication, skills, experience and cultural fit
- Reduce hiring turnaround time
- Track recruitment metrics
- Maintain candidate databases
- Build relationships with recruitment agencies and job portals when required
Performance Management
The HR Manager will work closely with management to implement:
- Employee KPI and KRA structures
- Monthly and quarterly performance reviews
- Probation evaluation systems
- Performance Improvement Plans where required
- Department-wise performance tracking
- Employee feedback systems
- Recognition and incentive structures
HR Operations & Policies
Strong understanding of:
- HR policies and SOPs
- Attendance and leave management
- Employee documentation
- Offer letters and appointment letters
- Confidentiality and employment agreements
- Employee discipline processes
- Exit and termination procedures
- Workplace conduct policies
- Basic understanding of Indian labour and employment compliance
Team & Culture
You will also be expected to help build a professional and accountable work culture.

What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate should have:
- 3–6+ years of HR experience
- Strong experience in recruitment and HR operations
- Experience hiring for IT, Digital Marketing, Sales or Technology roles
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi
- Good interviewing and candidate evaluation skills
- Strong ownership and follow-up ability
- Experience managing multiple open positions simultaneously
- Good knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets
- Familiarity with HRMS / ATS tools is preferred
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
Preferred Candidate
Preference will be given to candidates who have previously worked with:
- IT companies
- Digital marketing agencies
- Software companies
- Startups
- Recruitment-heavy organizations
Experience hiring Sales Executives, Developers, SEO professionals, PPC experts, Designers and Digital Marketing professionals will be a major advantage.
