As a Software Engineer I at Honeywell, you will be responsible for developing and integrating advanced software solutions for connected buildings, with a focus on Building Automation Systems & Building Management Systems software. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing our building automation offerings.
You will report to our Sr Software Engineering Supervisor and work out of our Bangalore, India location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will contribute to the development of innovative software solutions that improve building security and user experience, ensuring a more secure, sustainable and efficient environment.
Your role will also include overseeing, supervising and reviewing tasks performed by team members to ensure effective execution of work; managing end‑to‑end processes and projects for both internal and external clients with responsibility for timely and accurate delivery; issuing clear instructions and directions to team members on tasks to be performed; and mentoring and guiding junior colleagues to support their skill development, professional growth, and overall success
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
- 1+ years of experience in software development, specifically in full stack development using Javascript / C# .Net programming.
- Experience with cloud technologies and IoT platforms, particularly in the context of smart buildings.
- Experience with enterprise level large scale application development.
- Test Driven Development practices in development.
- Hands on with React JS & Some RPC like WebAPI, gRPC, GraphQL.

- Apply GoF Design Pattern, SOLID & KISS principles in development.
- Nice to have knowledge of PSIM domain solutions and their integration with building automation systems.
- Nice to have knowledge of Docker Containerization & Orchestrator application like K8S.
