HR Intern

Experience

  • Students pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field are encouraged to apply.

  • Monday to Friday

  • 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic HR Intern to support our Human Resources department in day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a willingness to learn, and a keen interest in recruitment, employee engagement, and HR operations.

Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Post job openings on job portals and social media platforms.
  • Source candidates through various recruitment channels.
  • Screen resumes and shortlist suitable candidates.
  • Schedule interviews with hiring managers.
  • Coordinate interview rounds and maintain interview schedules.
  • Conduct initial HR screening calls.
  • Follow up with candidates regarding interview status.

Employee On boarding

  • Prepare offer letters and joining documents.
  • Collect and verify employee documentation.
  • Assist in employee on boarding and orientation.
  • Maintain employee records and personnel files.

HR Operations

  • Update and maintain employee databases.
  • Maintain attendance and leave records.
  • Support payroll documentation.
  • Prepare HR reports and MIS.
  • Ensure employee files are organized and updated.

Employee Engagement

  • Assist in organizing employee engagement activities.
  • Support birthday, festival, and team events.
  • Collect employee feedback and maintain engagement records.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Prepare HR letters, certificates, and employment documents.
  • Ensure confidentiality of employee information.
  • Maintain compliance-related documentation.

Administrative Support

  • Coordinate with different departments for manpower requirements.
  • Manage HR emails and communications.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HR reports.
  • Perform other HR and administrative tasks assigned by the reporting manager.

Required Skills

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Google Sheets.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Good interpersonal and coordination skills.
  • Professional behavior and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (completed or pursuing) in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of recruitment processes and HR practices.
  • Familiarity with job portals and MS Office is an added advantage.
