**Must have experience in Human Resources in a Nursing Home**
**Responsibilities:**
* Develop and maintain accurate staffing schedules for the nursing department * Serve as the main point of contact between the facility and payroll team, ensuring timecards and payroll matters are handled correctly * Act as liaison for employee benefits coordination with relevant administrators * Oversee front desk operations and staff * Ensure compliance with Department of Labor and Department of Health requirements for all new hires, including onboarding processes such as background checks, reference verification, and timekeeping setup * Manage recruitment efforts, including identifying staffing needs, screening candidates, and conducting interviews * Attend management meetings as needed * Support overall team objectives by assisting with additional tasks when required * Handle core HR functions such as disciplinary actions, payroll status updates, terminations, resignations, and retirements in coordination with department leaders * Perform other related duties as assigned
**Qualifications:**
* Previous experience in human resources or staffing required * Degree or formal training in HR is strongly preferred * Solid understanding of HR processes and administration * Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem\-solving abilities * Excellent communication skills
