Job Title: Public Relations (PR) Manager

Location: Andheri East, Mumbai

Mode & Type: Full-Time, on site (Working from Office)

The Public Relations Manager will be responsible for managing media relations, strengthening brand visibility, and

supporting communication strategies for reports, events, and announcements released by Hurun India. The role requires

strong media networking, excellent writing skills, and the ability to manage press coverage across print, digital, and

broadcast platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Media Relations:

 Develop and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and media houses.

 Coordinate with media during press releases, media briefings, and press conferences.

 Pitch stories and secure media coverage for Hurun reports, rankings, and events.

Communication & Content:

 Draft media quotes for Hurun and partners to be included in press releases.

 Prepare media kits and material for all media communication.

Report & Event Promotion:

 Plan and execute PR strategies for Hurun reports and list launches.

 Coordinate with internal teams for media outreach during report releases and events.

 Manage media invitations and coverage for events and press meets.

Media Monitoring:

 Track and analyze media coverage.

 Maintain media databases and coverage reports.

 Prepare PR performance reports and media impact analysis.

Stakeholder Coordination:

 Support management with media interviews and speaking opportunities.

Strategic Responsibilities:

 Campaign-based PR strategy development for report launches and announcements.

 Narrative and messaging framework creation for reports and industry themes.

 Spokesperson briefing and media training (mock runs before press meets).

 Securing and managing strategic media interviews (print, digital, TV).

 Regional media outreach and language publication strategy.

 Media segmentation and targeted journalist mapping by sector/platform.

 Market intelligence tracking and identifying media conversation opportunities.

 End-to-end planning of press meets and press conferences.

 Managing journalist attendance and media invite strategy for events.

 Coverage targeting and PR performance metrics (coverage goals, reach etc.).

 Strategic counsel on positioning Hurun reports in industry conversations.

 Identifying new media platforms and amplification opportunities.

Required Skills

 Strong media network across business, finance, and lifestyle media.

 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 Event PR and media coordination experience.

 Familiarity with media monitoring tools and PR reporting.

Qualifications

 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Public Relations, or Marketing.

 10–12 years’ experience in Public Relations, Media Relations, or Corporate Communications.

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,600,000.00 per year
