About the role

<h3><strong>About the Role</strong></h3> <p>iCapital is seeking two mid-senior level investment professionals for its portfolio management team, who will each be responsible for building and managing an evergreen portfolio comprised of private equity and/or private real asset investments. Each hire will serve as the primary portfolio manager for a newly launched evergreen, registered fund: one focused on private equity fund investments and co-investments, and one focused on private real assets fund investments and co-investments. These professionals will play integral roles in helping grow iCapital’s evergreen registered fund business.</p> <h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Perform due diligence on private equity and private real assets co- and fund investment and co-investment opportunities, as applicable to the relevant fund mandate.</li> <li>Manage portfolio construction and liquidity across multiple underlying strategies.</li> <li>Drive overall strategy and play a key role in discussions with existing and potential investors.</li> <li>Monitor portfolio performance and manage external partnerships with underlying general partners.</li> <li>Collaborate with internal teams, including Distribution, Finance, Legal, and Compliance.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li>7-12+ years of relevant experience in private markets investing</li> <li>Experience participating in fundraising discussions with prospective investors</li> <li>Familiar with risk management concepts associated with portfolio construction</li> <li>Experience with private equity or private real assets, depending on the relevant fund mandate</li> <li>Experience with evergreen and registered offerings is a plus</li> <li>Experience in the wealth channel is a plus</li> <li>Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical capabilities</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li> <li>Able to problem-solve and make sound recommendations under pressure</li> <li>Professional and confident demeanor, including comfort interacting with senior industry professionals</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Benefits</strong></h3> <p>The base salary range for this role is $160,000 to $220,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
