Position Summary The ICT Business Analyst is responsible for analysing business requirements, operational processes and information systems to identify opportunities for improvement and develop effective ICT-based solutions. The position acts as a link between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications and supporting the design, testing, implementation and optimisation of information systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Review existing processes and systems to identify gaps, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare business requirements, functional specifications, process maps, user stories and system documentation.
- Work closely with developers and technical teams to communicate requirements and support solution design.
- Analyse and recommend suitable software, systems and technology solutions based on business needs.
- Support the implementation, configuration and enhancement of business applications and ICT systems.
- Plan and coordinate user acceptance testing, validate system functionality and track issues through to resolution.
- Assist with system integrations, data flows, automation and improvements to existing workflows.
- Monitor project requirements, deliverables, timelines and implementation activities in coordination with relevant teams.
- Develop user guides, SOPs and training materials and assist users with adoption of new systems.
- Conduct user training, demonstrations and system walkthroughs where required.
- Gather post-implementation feedback and recommend system enhancements and process improvements.
- Analyse system performance, operational data and user feedback to identify further improvement opportunities.
- Act as the communication link between business users, management, developers, vendors and other ICT professionals.
- Maintain accurate records of requirements, changes, testing outcomes, system documentation and implementation activities.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and recommend practical ICT solutions that can improve business efficiency and scalability.
Pay: $85,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
