Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Mobile App Developer with 4–6 years of experience in native mobile application development.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Native Android using Kotlin/Java or Native iOS using Swift. Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance native Android and/or iOS mobile applications.
- Build and integrate mobile features using Kotlin/Java or Swift.
- Develop shared functionality using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP), where applicable.
- Integrate mobile applications with backend services using REST APIs.
- Follow MVVM / Clean Architecture and mobile development best practices.
- Implement features such as authentication, push notifications, deep linking, and localization.
- Debug issues, optimize application performance, and support production releases.
- Manage builds and deployments to the Google Play Store / Apple App Store.
- Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and other stakeholders.
- Use tools such as Git, JIRA, Android Studio, Xcode, and AI-assisted development tools.
Required Skills
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in mobile application development
- Strong experience in Kotlin/Java (Android) OR Swift (iOS)
- Experience with REST APIs and authentication
- Knowledge of MVVM / Clean Architecture
- Good understanding of Git and mobile development tools
- Experience in debugging, performance optimization, and application releases
- Good understanding of mobile application development lifecycle
Preferred Skills
- Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) – hands-on experience preferred
- Experience developing shared code for Android and/or iOS using KMP
- Firebase
- JWT authentication
- CI/CD for mobile applications
- Figma or UI/UX tools
- AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Gemini, or Claude
Additional Requirements
- Available for an initial 3-month full-time remote consulting engagement
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and adapt to new technologies
