Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Security & Compliance Engineer to prepare our SaaS platform for ISO 27001 certification, covering technical security controls, cloud infrastructure security, compliance documentation and audit evidence.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience preparing at least one SaaS product for ISO 27001 certification, along with a strong background in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, Docker, CI/CD security and infrastructure hardening.
This role requires someone who can bridge the gap between technical security implementation and compliance requirements, ensuring that security controls are implemented, documented and ready for audit.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the SaaS platform, cloud infrastructure and existing security practices against ISO 27001 requirements.
- Identify security and compliance gaps and develop remediation plans.
- Implement and maintain technical security controls, including:
- Identity and access management (IAM) and access control.
- Logging, monitoring and security event visibility.
- Data encryption at rest and in transit.
- Backup, recovery and business continuity controls.
- Vulnerability management and security remediation.
- CI/CD pipeline security and deployment hardening.
- Infrastructure security and configuration management.
- Secrets management and secure credential handling.
- Strengthen application and infrastructure security across Docker-based environments and cloud platforms.
- Prepare and maintain security policies, procedures, technical documentation and compliance records.
- Collect, organise and maintain audit evidence demonstrating the implementation and effectiveness of security controls.
- Work with engineering and DevOps teams to integrate security controls into development and deployment workflows.
- Support internal security reviews, risk assessments, audit preparation and certification activities.
- Coordinate penetration testing and ensure identified vulnerabilities are addressed.
- Help establish security practices for AI-enabled applications, including addressing prompt injection and data leakage risks where applicable.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience in security engineering, cloud security, DevSecOps, infrastructure security or security compliance.
- Hands-on experience preparing at least one SaaS product for ISO 27001 certification.
- Strong understanding of ISO 27001 requirements and implementation of technical security controls.
- Strong cloud infrastructure and DevOps background.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience implementing infrastructure security controls and hardening cloud environments.
- Knowledge of access management, encryption, logging, monitoring, backups and vulnerability management.
- Experience preparing security documentation, compliance records and audit evidence.
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL security and access controls.
- Experience working with engineering teams to implement and maintain security controls.
- Immediate joiners are strongly preferred.

- Experience with compliance automation platforms such as Vanta, Drata or similar tools.
- Understanding of AI security risks, including prompt injection and sensitive data leakage.
- Experience coordinating penetration tests and tracking remediation activities.
- Hands-on experience with secrets management solutions.
- Experience implementing security controls for AI-powered SaaS platforms.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a hands-on Security & Compliance Engineer who has taken a SaaS product through ISO 27001 readiness or certification preparation. They should be comfortable working directly with cloud infrastructure and DevOps teams to implement security controls while maintaining the documentation and evidence required for audits.
Candidates with strong theoretical compliance knowledge but no practical SaaS certification preparation experience may not be suitable.
Pay: ₹509,000.00 - ₹5,033,000.00 per year
