Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Full Stack Developer with 8+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot 3.x, Microservices, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, Spring Security, React.js/Angular, and modern cloud/DevOps practices. The candidate should be comfortable working across both backend and frontend development, database design, API integrations, security, testing, and production support.
Experience with enterprise applications, Service Level Management (SLM), ITSM, SLA/KPI-based systems, data synchronization, batch processing, and large-scale databases will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and modern frontend technologies.
- Develop robust RESTful APIs using Spring Boot 3.x / Spring Framework 6 and document APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger.
- Build responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using React.js or Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Design and implement reusable, maintainable, and scalable frontend components.
- Design and maintain PostgreSQL database schemas, tables, constraints, indexes, views, functions, and stored procedures.
- Develop complex SQL queries using CTEs, window functions, JSONB, and other advanced PostgreSQL features.
- Work with JPA/Hibernate including entity relationships, JPQL/native queries, projections, specifications, transactions, lazy/eager loading, and performance optimization.
- Develop PL/pgSQL functions, triggers, audit tables, views, and database migration scripts.
- Perform database performance tuning using EXPLAIN/EXPLAIN ANALYZE, indexing strategies, query optimization, partitioning, VACUUM/ANALYZE, and connection pooling.
- Implement secure applications using Spring Security, OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, role-based and permission-based access control.
- Work with Keycloak for authentication, authorization, roles, groups, clients, and token management.
- Develop scheduled and batch-processing solutions using Quartz Scheduler and Spring Batch.
- Integrate applications with external data sources including MS SQL Server, Snowflake, REST APIs, and file-based sources.
- Build and maintain Excel/CSV import and export functionality using tools such as Apache POI and OpenCSV.
- Implement audit logging and data-change tracking for business-critical applications.
- Develop unit and integration tests using JUnit 5, Mockito, Spring Boot Test, and Spring Security Test.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, performance, and production issues.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards for clean, secure, and testable code.
- Work with Git feature branches, pull requests, rebasing, and conflict resolution.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, DevOps teams, and other developers in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Work with Jira tickets, sprint planning, technical documentation, and production support activities.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to architecture, technical decisions, coding standards, and best practices.
- Work with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and cloud environments.
- Ensure third-party dependencies remain secure and free from known vulnerabilities.
Required SkillsJava & Backend
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong expertise in Java 17+.
- Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP, Collections, Streams, Generics, Records, Optional, Exception Handling, and Multithreading.
- Good understanding of Concurrency, Thread Pools, CompletableFuture, and thread safety.
- Strong understanding of SOLID principles and layered architecture.
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot 3.x and Spring Framework 6.
- Experience with Spring MVC, Spring Web, validation, exception handling, pagination, and REST API development.
- Strong experience with Microservices architecture.
Database & Data Access
- Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.
- Excellent knowledge of SQL, database design, normalization, indexes, constraints, foreign keys, sequences, and transactions.
- Experience with CTEs, window functions, JSONB, complex queries, and query optimization.
- Experience with PL/pgSQL functions, stored procedures, triggers, views, and audit tables.
- Strong experience with Spring Data JPA and Hibernate 6.
- Understanding of entity relationships, lazy/eager loading, N+1 problems, dirty checking, batching, and transaction management.
- Experience with database migrations and version-controlled schema changes.
- Knowledge of HikariCP and database connection pooling.
- Experience with database performance tuning and handling large data volumes.
Security
- Strong experience with Spring Security.
- Knowledge of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and role/permission-based authorization.
- Experience with Keycloak is preferred.
- Understanding of application security and least-privilege access.
Frontend
- Strong experience with React.js or Angular.
- Good knowledge of JavaScript/ES6+, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with state management such as Redux, Context API, or similar.
- Ability to integrate frontend applications with REST APIs.
Testing & Quality
- Experience with JUnit 5 and Mockito.
- Experience writing unit, integration, and API tests.
- Knowledge of Spring Boot Test and Spring Security Test.
- Strong understanding of testable and maintainable code.
- Experience participating in code reviews.
Tools & DevOps
- Strong experience with Git and Maven.
- Experience with Jira and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Bitbucket Pipelines, Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, or similar.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with application monitoring, logging, and Spring Boot Actuator is preferred.
