Job Overview
At Griffin, design is not decoration. It is how the institution expresses taste, trust, discretion and ambition.
As Graphic Designer, Griffin Club, you will be responsible for shaping the visual language of one of India’s most exclusive founder circles. You will work closely with the Griffin leadership team to create design assets for member communication, private events, founder experiences, strategic decks, invitations, gifting, digital properties and institutional storytelling.
This is a role for someone who understands that Griffin should never look loud, mass-market or promotional. Every visual touchpoint must feel premium, considered and founder-worthy.
You will not just make creatives. You will help build the visual identity of a private institution for India’s most consequential founders.
Your Impact In This Role
Shape Griffin’s Visual Identity: Build and maintain a premium, consistent and recognisable design language for Griffin across all touchpoints.
Design For India’s Top Founders: Create assets that are seen by unicorn founders, policymakers, investors, institutional leaders and global business figures.
Elevate Every Griffin Experience: Ensure every invite, deck, menu card, agenda, signage, gifting insert, event creative and post-event asset feels intentional and high-quality.
Bring Order To Brand Assets: Create templates, systems and design guidelines so Griffin’s visual output becomes faster, cleaner and more consistent over time.
Experiment With AI-Led Design Tools: Use AI tools where relevant to improve speed, ideation, moodboarding, image treatment and visual exploration.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Build And Maintain Griffin’s Design System
- Create and maintain Griffin’s visual design system across digital and physical assets.
- Develop reusable templates for invites, decks, event agendas, speaker cards, WhatsApp creatives, member profiles, newsletters and internal documents.
- Ensure consistency in typography, colours, spacing, image treatment, visual hierarchy and premium brand language.
- Build a clean archive of design files, brand assets, templates, logos, fonts, image banks and final exports.
- Protect Griffin’s design quality so that no asset feels rushed, cluttered or generic.
2. Design For Griffin Events And Experiences
- Create design assets for Griffin Salons, Retreats, Privé gatherings, delegations, dinners, IPO Dialogue, founder roundtables and special access moments.
- Design event invites, save-the-dates, agenda cards, speaker cards, room branding, table cards, menu cards, backdrops, signage and post-event creatives.
- Work with the team to understand the mood, audience and purpose of each Griffin format before designing.
- Ensure every event asset feels aligned with the room — private, premium, discreet and high-trust.
- Coordinate with vendors, printers and production partners to ensure correct formats, sizes and final outputs.
3. Create Founder And Member-Facing Assets
- Design member welcome assets, onboarding materials, profile cards and special milestone creatives.
- Create high-quality visuals for founder introductions, member achievements, IPO moments, fundraises, launches and other key member milestones.
- Support the team in creating visually polished communication for WhatsApp groups, emailers and member-facing updates.
- Ensure all member-facing assets feel personal, elegant and respectful.
4. Support Strategic Decks And Institutional Documents
- Design and polish Griffin decks, partnership decks, membership notes, government notes, event proposals, sponsor decks and internal strategy documents.
- Convert rough content into clean, structured and visually sharp presentations.
- Work closely with the leadership team to translate complex ideas into simple and premium visual storytelling.
- Maintain a repository of approved slides, design modules and visual templates for repeat use.
5. Support Brand, Content And Digital Assets
- Create digital creatives for Griffin’s website, social communication, post-event storytelling and founder-safe public narratives.
- Design visual assets for event recaps, photo stories, quote cards, announcements and institutional storytelling.
- Work with photographers, videographers and content teams to select, crop, retouch and package visuals.
- Ensure Griffin’s public-facing design remains aspirational but restrained.
6. Own Design Execution Discipline
- Maintain timelines for all design requests.
- Understand briefs clearly before starting work.
- Ask the right questions on audience, format, tone, size, usage and deadline.
- Share design options with clarity and rationale.
- Keep all final files properly named, organised and accessible.
- Ensure print-ready and digital-ready formats are delivered correctly.
- Coordinate with the team for feedback, approvals and final sign-off.
What Sets You Apart?
- Premium Design Sensibility: You understand restraint, whitespace, typography, hierarchy and taste.
- Detail Orientation: You notice alignment, spacing, image quality, file formats and finishing.
- Founder-First Thinking: You understand that the audience is not generic. These are high-context, high-expectation founders.
- Speed With Quality: You can move fast without making things look careless.
- Structured Execution: You can create repeatable templates and systems, not just one-off designs.
- Visual Storytelling: You can convert an idea, event or founder profile into a sharp visual narrative.
- Ownership Mindset: You take responsibility for the final output, not just the design file.
- High Taste, Low Noise: You know how to make something feel premium without making it loud.
- Curiosity For AI Tools: You are open to using AI tools to moodboard, ideate, enhance images, create variations and improve design efficiency.
Professional Traits
