About Us
We're an FMCG fragrance company manufacturing and supplying fragrance products to retailers worldwide. We're looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead our technology operations, strengthen our systems and security, and help the business adopt practical AI solutions.
About the Role
You'll take ownership of the company's IT environment, supporting users, suppliers and business systems across our UK and international operations. The role combines hands-on IT management with strategic responsibility for infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, systems improvement and the responsible use of AI to improve efficiency and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
§ Manage the company's IT infrastructure, networks, devices, cloud services and business applications
§ Provide responsive technical support and ensure reliable day-to-day IT operations
§ Develop and maintain cybersecurity, access control, backup, recovery and data protection practices
§ Manage IT suppliers, licences, budgets, contracts and technology procurement
§ Ensure secure data generation, personalisation and use of digital delivery platforms
§ Identify, evaluate and implement AI tools and automations that deliver measurable business value
§ Establish appropriate governance for the secure, ethical and responsible use of AI
§ Partner with teams across the business to improve processes, reporting, data quality and system integration
§ Maintain IT documentation, policies, asset records and business continuity plans
§ Ad Hoc duties as needed
Requirements
§ Proven experience managing IT operations, infrastructure and end-user support
§ Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, cloud platforms, identity and access management, and data protection
§ Experience managing suppliers, contractors and competing priorities
§ Clear communication skills and the ability to translate technical issues for non-technical colleagues
§ Organised, proactive and comfortable working both strategically and hands-on
§ Proven project management experience
Desirable
§ Experience in FMCG, retail, manufacturing or a fast-growing SME
§ Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and/or other platforms
§ Experience delivering AI adoption, training or governance initiatives
What We Offer
§ £55,000 annual salary
§ Hybrid working, with travel as needed in the UK
