Financial Management & Reporting
- Direct and oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and tax accounting.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage statutory reporting and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Monitor financial performance and provide analysis to executive management.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic financial forecasting.
- Analyze variances between actual and budgeted performance.
- Develop financial models to support business planning and investment decisions.
- Provide financial insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Internal Controls & Compliance
- Design, implement, and maintain effective internal control systems.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and company policies.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
- Oversee risk management processes relating to financial operations.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital requirements.
- Optimize treasury operations and banking relationships.
- Support capital management and financing activities.
- Ensure effective management of financial risks.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop finance and accounting personnel.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic initiatives.
- Present financial results and recommendations to senior management and the board.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, system implementations, and business transformation projects as required.
Ihr Profil
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Several years of professional experience in financial controlling, financial analysis, or a similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Fluent English and German skills (written and spoken); Spanish skills are an advantage
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with ERP/financial systems is preferred
