The Planning Supervisor provides hands-on leadership to Production Planners, Schedulers, and Production Control personnel, ensuring&nbsp;accurate&nbsp;planning, effective communication, and&nbsp;timely&nbsp;execution of production schedules.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"201341983":0,"335551550":1,"335551620":1,"335559685":0,"335559737":0,"335559738":0,"335559739":160,"335559740":279}">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Please note:&nbsp;This position requires 100% in-office presence in our Jacksonville, FL offices and does not offer remote work.</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><strong><span data-contrast="none"><span data-ccp-parastyle="heading 2">ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</span></span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Supervises the daily activities of the Production Planning, Scheduling, and Production Control team</span></li> <li>Coordinates with Production leadership to develop and execute production schedules that support on-time customer delivery.</li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Monitors production schedules and works with manufacturing supervisors to resolve scheduling conflicts and production constraints.</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Ensures accurate job sequencing to optimize efficiency and minimize lead times.</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Tracks schedule adherence and recommends schedule adjustments based on shop floor conditions.</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Escalates work order delays, material shortages, and capacity concerns to management while coordinating timely resolutions.</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Maintains accurate production schedules and planning data within the ERP/MRP system.</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Assists in estimating manufacturing times for assemblies and supports continuous improvement efforts to improve production flow and reduce cycle times.</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Tracks and reports production planning Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to management.</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Promotes standardized planning processes and supports Lean Manufacturing initiatives within the department.</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Trains, coaches, and develops planning team members while fostering collaboration and accountability.</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Performs additional duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}">&nbsp;</span></li> </ul> <p><strong><span data-contrast="none"><span data-ccp-parastyle="heading 2">EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</span></span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"134245418":true,"134245529":true,"335559738":299,"335559739":299}">&nbsp;</span></p> <ul> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration, or&nbsp;a related&nbsp;field preferred.&nbsp;Equivalent&nbsp;combination of education and relevant experience, including&nbsp;demonstrated&nbsp;leadership, will be considered.</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">5+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">2-4 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably with multiple product lines or high-mix/low-volume production.</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Experience supporting Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Proven ability to collaborate effectively with Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, Sales, and Customer Service.</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Experience with ERP/MRP systems;
