Role: IT Security Analyst 2 Location: Richmond, VA Work Mode: Remote Employment Type: Contract Interview Mode: Only In person
We are seeking an experienced IT Security Analyst with strong knowledge of cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC). The candidate will assess security risks, review compliance requirements, support IT audits, maintain risk registers, and ensure security issues are tracked through resolution.
Required Skills:
- Experience in cybersecurity, information security, IT security governance, or risk management.
- Experience in security risk assessments, GRC, or compliance reviews.
- Eperience with NIST security frameworks, including NIST SP 800-53.
- Experience in security control assessments, IT audits, risk tracking, and remediation.
- Experience developing security policies, procedures, assessment reports, and audit documentation.
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Archer GRC or similar GRC platforms.
- VITA SEC530 or Virginia state security compliance.
- Third-party risk management, SOC reports, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with CJIS, HIPAA, PCI DSS, FERPA, or FTI.
