Key Responsibilities & Required Skills:
- 🔹 Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server administration and architecture.
- 🔹 Experience in SQL performance tuning and query optimisation.
- 🔹 Hands-on experience with database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
- 🔹 Knowledge of high availability technologies, including replication and log shipping.
- 🔹 Experience in database maintenance, monitoring, and capacity management.
- 🔹 Good understanding of database structures, indexes, file groups, and memory management.
- 🔹 Experience working with Windows Server environments.
- 🔹 Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Good to Have:
- 🔹 Oracle Database Administration experience.
- 🔹 Database migration and upgrade experience.
- 🔹 Experience supporting 24/7 mission-critical environments.
- 🔹 Knowledge of ITIL processes and change management.
- 🔹 Shell scripting and automation experience.
- 🔹 Pre-sales or transition management experience.
