2. Systems Design Develop system designs, technical specifications, and solution approaches based on business requirements.
Design application components, workflows, database structures, APIs, and system integrations.
Ensure proposed solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with technical standards.
Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.
Review existing systems and recommend enhancements or improvements.
3. Application Development Develop, enhance, and maintain applications based on approved requirements and technical designs.
Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Perform unit testing and debugging of developed applications.
Conduct code reviews and follow established coding standards and development best practices.
Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and third-party systems where applicable.
4. QA & Testing Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on business and technical requirements.
Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
Work closely with QA teams and business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve defects identified during testing.
Ensure system changes meet functional requirements, quality standards, and acceptance criteria.
5. Production Support Provide technical support for applications and systems deployed in production.
Investigate and resolve production incidents, application errors, and system issues.
Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate with infrastructure, database, network, QA, and other technical teams when resolving complex issues.
Monitor application performance and identify recurring issues or potential system risks.
Support emergency fixes, system enhancements, and production deployments as required.
Maintain proper documentation of incidents, resolutions, and technical changes.
6. Documentation Prepare and maintain system documentation, technical specifications, process flows, and user documentation.
Document application changes, known issues, troubleshooting procedures, and production support resolutions.
Ensure technical documentation is updated following system enhancements or changes.
7. Stakeholder & Team Collaboration Act as a bridge between business users and technical/development teams.
Communicate technical issues and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Participate in project meetings, sprint planning, requirements discussions, and technical reviews.
Provide technical recommendations based on business requirements and system capabilities.
Coordinate with developers, QA testers, business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
