What You'll Do
- Support recruiting, hiring, background checks, and new hire onboarding.
- Create a warm, welcoming experience for new team members.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS information, and I-9 documentation.
- Administer benefits and assist employees with questions about policies, benefits, and pay.
- Support employee relations, leave programs, Workers' Compensation, unemployment, and HR compliance.
- Process payroll accurately and help resolve payroll questions.
- Partner with leaders on hiring, coaching, performance, and employee relations.
- Prepare HR communications, employment offers, and team member announcements.
- Help plan employee events, celebrations, and recognition activities.
- Maintain confidentiality and stay current on HR best practices and employment requirements.
What You'll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of general HR experience required.
- HR experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality is a plus.
- Experience with payroll and HRIS systems.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Someone who is positive, dependable, detail-oriented, and genuinely enjoys helping people!
