The Visual Merchandising team creates inspiring, customer-focused shopping experiences that connect our products, brands, and trends in meaningful ways. Through visual presentation strategy, mannequin styling, store training, communication, and field execution, we establish the standards, tools, and capabilities that help stores consistently deliver an elevated customer experience. Our work spans Home Office, Market, and Store teams, creating the connection between strategy and execution while supporting one of Walmart's largest growth opportunities within Style.

The Market Visual Merchandising Manager is the critical link between Home Office visual strategy and store execution. This field-based role drives visual excellence across multiple markets by coaching store teams, reinforcing standards, identifying execution opportunities, and helping stores deliver consistent, inspiring customer experiences.
The Market Visual Manager partners with Market and Store leadership to build visual merchandising capability, improve execution consistency, remove operational barriers, and share field insights that strengthen Walmart’s Visual Merchandising operating model. Through influence, coaching, and business partnership, this role helps bring Walmart’s visual strategy to life in stores while supporting customer experience and business performance.

Drive Presentation Excellence Across Multiple Stores
- Reinforce Home Office Visual Merchandising standards, tools, guides, and seasonal directives while ensuring consistent execution across assigned stores.
- Validate execution of core visual merchandising deliverables, including mannequins, brand shops, signing, displays, merchandising presentations, seasonal transitions, and new brand launches.
- Lead store visits, walkthroughs, and audits to identify execution gaps, coach teams, and improve visual presentation standards.

Train and Develop Store Teams
- Serve as the visual merchandising subject matter expert for assigned markets.
- Train Style teams and store leadership on visual standards, mannequin styling, execution routines, and Visual Merchandising Guides through feedback, hands-on development, and reinforcement of new ways of working.
- Identify and develop future visual merchandising talent across assigned stores and markets.
Build Partnerships + Drive Business Results
- Partner with Market Managers, Store Managers, Fashion Coaches, and Home Office Visual Merchandising to align priorities, resolve execution barriers, and support consistent store execution.
- Translate visual merchandising strategy into actionable store plans that support sales, customer experience, and operational excellence.
- Use sales data, customer insights, and store observations to prioritize support, identify opportunities, and improve business performance.
- Provide weekly business updates to HO Visual Merchandising team, including wins, opportunities, and action plan.
Lead Through Influence
- Build strong relationships across stores, markets, and Home Office Visual Merchandising and Operations teams by clearly communicating priorities and influencing alignment.
- Escalate systemic opportunities and share field feedback that improves visual merchandising tools, processes, and standards.
- Champion Walmart’s visual merchandising strategy, brand standards, and culture across the field organization.
// MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, or related field OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience in visual merchandising, retail operations, store planning, or related field.
- Experience coaching, developing, and influencing teams.
- Experience managing multiple priorities across multiple locations.
- Ability to travel regularly within assigned markets.
Preferred Qualifications
- District, market, or regional retail experience.
- Experience in fashion, specialty retail, or customer experience-focused environments.
- Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles, styling, fixture utilization, signing, and presentation standards.
- Experience analyzing business performance data and translating insights into action.

Success Measures
The Market Visual Merchandising Manager will be measured on:
- Consistency of visual standards across assigned stores.
- Improvement in visual audit and execution scores.
- Adoption of visual merchandising tools, guides, and training.
- Development of store VM capability and leadership.
- Execution of seasonal and priority initiatives.
The salary range for this full-time, 6-month contracted position is $70.00 per hour. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; location and region; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
