What you'll do:
- Design, develop and maintain back-end components for web and Windows applications.
- Develop server-side functionality using relevant technologies, including C#, JavaScript, .NET Framework, .NET Core and Node.js.
- Design, develop and maintain APIs and application integrations.
- Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of microservices architectures.
- Implement appropriate API security and application security controls.
- Develop reliable, scalable and maintainable application services.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, business analysts, testers and solution architects to deliver integrated solutions.
- Identify and resolve defects, performance bottlenecks and integration issues.
- Apply containerisation practices to support consistent application packaging and deployment.
- Contribute to DevSecOps practices and the integration of security into the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment activities and technical troubleshooting.
- Maintain technical documentation and support application maintenance and production issue resolution.
- Apply approved coding standards, development practices and security requirements.
Qualifications:
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
- Certification in Software Development.
Your Expertise:
- At least six (6) years of experience developing web and Windows applications.
- Experience with technologies and practices including:
- C#.
- JavaScript.
- .NET Framework and/or .NET Core.
- Node.js.
- Microservices architecture.
- API security.
- Containerisation.
- DevSecOps practices.
Required Competencies:
- Server-side application development.
