About the role
We need someone who can move fluidly between clean, precise photo retouching and strong graphic design instincts. Our work is a mix — some projects are fully traditional photography (no AI involved at all), and others integrate AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Higgsfield into the creative process. You'll need to be comfortable working both ways and know when each approach applies.
What you'll do
- Retouch fashion/editorial photography to a high, clean, commercial standard
- Design graphic assets across campaigns, social, and brand materials
- Work on traditional photography projects with no AI involved when the project calls for it
- Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Higgsfield, and similar) to accelerate concepting, retouching, and design work on projects where it's integrated
- Collaborate closely with our creative directors to match a consistent visual language
- Turn around work reliably and on schedule — this is frequent, recurring work, not sporadic gigs
What we're looking for
- Strong portfolio showing retouching and graphic design work (fashion/editorial experience a plus)
- Comfortable working across both traditional and AI-integrated workflows
- Willingness and ability to learn new AI tools quickly — we provide some training, but you should be someone who picks things up fast and isn't intimidated by new software
- Reliable, communicative, and able to meet deadlines without much hand-holding
- Available for remote or hybrid work in/around Montreal
- Flexible availability — this can range from part-time (10–15 hrs/week) up to full-time, depending on fit and workload
