Job Description

We are looking for an experienced data engineering professional to report directly to the Head of Data Engineering and Architecture, leading the development and support of the data platform and data products.

This role will enable colleagues across ISS to maximise the value of data, improve decision-making, and drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Practical experience designing and building data products aligned to best practice.
  • Experience working across the full data development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through to production support.
  • Ability to mentor and provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to influence and build effective relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
