Job Description: Treasury Consultant (Corporate Treasury Systems & Operations)
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Treasury Consultant to join our professional services/consulting team. In this role, you will help our corporate clients optimize, modernize, and implement cutting-edge corporate treasury technology and functional workflows.
Please note: This is strictly a *Corporate Treasury role (not banking treasury). We are looking for candidates who possess hands-on consulting or practitioner experience within corporate treasury environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Treasury System Implementation: Lead or participate in end-to-end implementation projects for Treasury Management Systems (TMS), with a strong preference for Kyriba or Ripple (formerly GTreasury).
- Functional Advisory: Design, configure, and test core corporate treasury modules, including Cash Management, Liquidity Planning, Debt & Investments, Foreign Exchange (FX), and Interest Rate (IR) Swaps.
- Risk & Accounting Integration: Advise clients on financial risk management, valuations, financial accounting, and complex hedge accounting workflows within their treasury systems.
- Client Collaboration: Conduct workshops with client stakeholders to gather business requirements, map current vs. future-state processes, and bridge the gap between technical setups and business needs.
- Data Migration & Testing: Oversee data validation, bank connectivity (SWIFT, Host-to-Host), testing cycles, user training, and post-go-live support.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 1-3 years of relevant professional experience working specifically within Corporate Treasury departments or implementing corporate treasury technology (consulting background preferred). (Note: Banking treasury experience does not align with this role).
- System Expertise: Hands-on implementation or configuration experience with Kyriba and/or Ripple (formerly GTreasury).
- Domain Knowledge: Comprehensive functional understanding of corporate treasury operations, specifically:
- Debt and Investment management
- Foreign Exchange (FX) and Interest Rate (IR) Swaps
- Risk management and asset/liability valuation
- Financial accounting and Hedge Accounting standards
- Skills: Strong analytical mindset, excellent client-facing communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple project workstreams independently.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
