We operate across two main divisions: software development and IT services. Our software team builds custom applications, business automation solutions and SaaS products.

We are looking for a technology-oriented professional who can help us scale our software operations, coordinate product delivery, strengthen client relationships and support our sales and marketing activities.

About the position

We are hiring a proactive, organized and commercially minded SaaS & Software Operations and Product Delivery Coordinator to work closely with our leadership, developers, IT specialists and clients.

This is a hands-on position combining SaaS operations, software project management, product ownership support, AI-assisted workflows, marketing and business development.

You will help turn business ideas into deliverable software projects, keep teams and clients aligned, improve operational efficiency and contribute to the company's growth.

Key responsibilities

1. SaaS operations & product delivery

  • Coordinate the day-to-day operations of our SaaS and custom software projects.
  • Support product roadmaps, feature planning, sprint coordination and release schedules.
  • Work with developers to translate business requirements into user stories and actionable tasks.
  • Maintain Jira backlogs, track milestones and follow up on project deliverables.
  • Coordinate product testing, client demonstrations, user acceptance testing and launches.
  • Support ShiftVale's development, market validation and commercialization.

2. AI tools & business automation

  • Use AI tools to improve internal productivity, documentation, reporting and business workflows.
  • Explore practical applications of ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and other AI platforms.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive operational, sales and marketing tasks.
  • Support AI-assisted content creation, research, customer communications and project documentation.
  • Work with developers to explore AI integrations and workflow automation.
  • Ensure appropriate handling of confidential company and client information when using AI tools.

3. Client relations & business development

  • Participate in client discovery meetings to understand operational challenges and software requirements.
  • Coordinate client communications, project updates and follow-ups.
  • Help prepare software proposals, statements of work, presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Maintain CRM records, track leads and follow up on business opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities for custom software, SaaS, AI automation and managed IT services.
  • Support relationships with prospective customers, technology partners and existing clients.

4. Digital marketing & SaaS growth

  • Coordinate LinkedIn campaigns, company announcements and digital marketing activities.
  • Support SEO, website updates, case studies and software product marketing.
  • Use AI-assisted tools to research markets, draft content and improve marketing efficiency.
  • Help develop product presentations, one-pagers and sales materials.
  • Support ShiftVale's go-to-market activities, customer interviews and pilot recruitment.
  • Track marketing leads, campaign performance and conversion opportunities.

5. Business operations & project management

  • Coordinate priorities across our software development and IT services teams.
  • Monitor project timelines, deliverables, resource allocation and operational risks.
  • Organize project documentation, contracts, NDAs and statements of work.
  • Prepare weekly operational reports and project status updates for leadership.
  • Improve internal processes and establish repeatable workflows as the company grows.
  • Help coordinate client onboarding, project handovers and customer success activities.

What we're looking for

We're interested in someone who understands how technology companies operate and enjoys working at the intersection of software, business and people.

You should be comfortable speaking with clients, coordinating technical projects, experimenting with AI tools and taking ownership of your work. You don't need to be a software developer, but you should have sufficient technical understanding to work confidently with developers and discuss software solutions with customers.

Required qualifications

  • Experience or relevant education in software, IT, business technology, product management or a related field.
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies and project coordination.
  • Practical experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot or similar platforms.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and work with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Teams, Outlook, Excel and SharePoint.
  • Interest in SaaS products, software commercialization, digital marketing and business development.

Preferred qualificationsTechnical & product experience

  • Jira, Confluence or other Agile project management platforms.
  • SaaS product management, product ownership or software project delivery.
  • Familiarity with APIs, cloud applications, integrations and web technologies.
  • Experience with AI automation tools such as Power Automate, n8n, Zapier or Make.Commercial & operations experience
  • CRM platforms such as HubSpot.
  • LinkedIn marketing, SEO, content creation or digital marketing analytics.
  • B2B technology sales, client discovery and proposal preparation.
  • Experience working in a software company, SaaS startup, IT consultancy or MSP.
  • Familiarity with nonprofit, healthcare or professional services organizations.
  • Operation of IT Services Companies

Who would succeed in this role?

You're someone who enjoys technology but also likes working with people. You can participate in a software sprint meeting in the morning, meet a prospective client in the afternoon and use AI tools to streamline a repetitive business process.

You're curious about how SaaS businesses grow, comfortable taking initiative and capable of turning discussions into clear action plans. You understand that successful software delivery requires more than writing code: it also requires understanding customers, managing expectations, coordinating teams and delivering measurable business value.

Schedule & work structure

Location: Burnaby, BC — hybrid/in-office

Employment: Part-time, with potential for full-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, approximately 9:00 AM–2:30 PM, with flexibility based on operational needs

Growth: Opportunity to take on greater responsibility in product management, operations or client solutions

Compensation

This is a paid, Full-time position. Compensation will be based on relevant experience, technical knowledge and the agreed working schedule.
