Warsaw-based opportunity with hybrid work model, requiring 2–3 days in the office per month.
As a Mid-Level/Senior Manual API Tester, you will be working for our client, a company operating in the insurance sector, testing IT solutions that support insurance products and business processes. You will help ensure that system integrations, data flows, and delivered solutions meet business and technical requirements while contributing to high software quality across the project.
Your main responsibilities:
- Create and maintain test cases based on business requirements and project documentation.
- Coordinate the preparation and acquisition of test data.
- Estimate testing effort and plan testing activities.
- Execute tests independently in line with established best practices and organizational standards.
- Report defects and document test results.
- Test APIs and validate system integrations using SoapUI and Postman.
- Analyze XML files to verify data correctness and consistency.
- Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and other testing professionals to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 3 years of experience in software testing.
- Technical education in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience working with Jira.
- Good knowledge of API testing tools, particularly SoapUI and Postman.
- Ability to read and analyze XML files.
- Knowledge of databases and system integration concepts.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a project team.
Language Required for the role: Good command of Polish and communicative English.
