As a Senior MSS Product Control Project Manager, you will be working for our client, supporting the Markets and Securities Services business within a strategic programme of change. You will help drive the transformation of Product Control processes, improve data quality and governance, and deliver effective solutions across Product Control, Traded Risk, Finance IT, and Front Office teams.
Your main responsibilities:
- Analyse the FX position process, including how positions are captured in Product Control and shared with Traded Risk.
- Liaise with and educate Traded Risk stakeholders on Product Control processes related to FX position and FX P&L.
- Investigate P&L Explain data exceptions, identify root causes, and coordinate effective resolutions.
- Improve governance and tooling for Product Control adjustments, enhancing data quality and review routines.
- Manage data exception resolution from requirements documentation and stakeholder alignment through testing and go-live support.
- Produce high-quality project analysis and documentation in line with the Business Transformation Framework.
- Collaborate with Finance, Product Control, and IT teams to confirm requirements, data attributes, solution design, testing, and delivery.
- Maintain project RAID logs, escalate high-risk items, and coach and guide business analysts.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 5 years of experience in Product Control or an adjacent function such as Traded Risk, Market Risk, or Credit Risk.
- At least 8 years of overall professional experience.
- A proven track record of contributing to or leading strategic change initiatives across multiple geographies and stakeholder groups.
- Experience designing and establishing project governance structures tailored to specific initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and prioritisation skills, particularly when managing conflicting requirements.
- Subject Matter Expert-level knowledge of Markets and Securities Services products and system requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with remote IT development teams.
- Leadership aptitude and a willingness to coach and develop junior team members.
