Java Full Stack Solution Architect
ContractC2C Culver City, CA (4 days onsite) Visa: US CitizenGreen CardGC-EADH1BH4-EADTNEAD Job Summary: We are seeking a highly technical, hands-on Java Full Stack Solution Architect with extensive experience in the Media & Entertainment domain. In this role, you will spend 60% of your time defining architectural blueprints, system designs, and cloud strategies, and 40% of your time actively writing code, building Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and mentoring engineering teams. You will drive the modernization of scalable enterprise applications powering media supply chains, content distribution, and streaming workflows. Core Responsibilities
- Architect & Design: Define end-to-end cloud-native microservices architectures, data models, and integration strategies for complex media management systems.
- Hands-on Development: Write clean, production-grade code for core frameworks, tackle complex technical bottlenecks, and conduct rigorous code reviews.
- Domain Integration: Architect highly scalable workflows tailored for asset ingestion, digital rights management (DRM), metadata indexing, and video streaming pipelines.
- Technical Leadership: Guide engineering teams on best practices, establish coding standards, and bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution. Required Technical Skills
- Backend: Expert-level Java (11/17+), Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, and RESTful/GraphQL API design.
- Frontend: Strong hands-on proficiency in React.js or Angular, TypeScript, HTML5/CSS3, and state management frameworks.
- Cloud & DevOps: Production-level experience with AWS (S3, EC2, Lambda, EKS, DynamoDB) alongside Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation.
- Data & Messaging: Deep knowledge of Relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases, alongside event-driven tools like Kafka or RabbitMQ. Qualifications & Domain Requirements
- 10+ years of total software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in a dedicated Solution Architect role.
- Mandatory experience in the Media & Entertainment industry (e.g., Digital Supply Chain, Media Asset Management (MAM), OTT/Streaming, or Content Distribution).
- Strong communication skills with a proven track record of presenting architectural decisions to stakeholders and business leaders.
