We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Electrical Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of complex electrical engineering projects. In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical engineering and business operations—managing project schedules, budgets, cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and client relations while ensuring strict compliance with safety and electrical codes.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution
- Lead electrical projects from inception to final commissioning, defining project scopes, deliverables, and resource requirements.
- Develop detailed project schedules, milestones, and critical path activities using tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar software.
- Review single-line diagrams, schematics, electrical layout drawings, and technical specifications before execution.
Financial & Resource Management
- Prepare, manage, and monitor project budgets, cost estimates, and cash flow projections.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with equipment vendors, suppliers, and electrical subcontractors.
- Manage change orders, evaluate cost impacts, and secure client approval for scope adjustments.
Quality Control & Compliance
- Ensure all electrical designs and installations comply with local, national, and international standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE, OSHA, IEC).
- Conduct site inspections and quality audits to maintain high standards of quality assurance and safety protocol on-site.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover procedures for electrical infrastructure and equipment.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, general contractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Lead and mentor project engineers, CAD technicians, electricians, and site supervisors.
- Facilitate regular project status meetings and prepare executive reporting on progress, risks, and financial performance.
Qualifications & RequirementsEducation & Certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree: Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related field required.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 3–7+ years of direct experience managing electrical engineering projects (e.g., power distribution, MEP systems, industrial automation, or renewable energy)
- Hands-on experience with relevant software:
- Design/CAD: AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), ETAP, or EasyPower.
- Project Management: MS Project, Primavera P6, Procore, or Jira.

- Deep understanding of national electrical codes (e.g., NEC), safety standards (OSHA), and local building codes.
