Responsible for managing project costs, tender preparation, quantity measurement, contract administration, procurement, and financial control to ensure projects are delivered within budget and in accordance with contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Cost Estimation & Tendering: Prepare cost estimates, pricing, forecasts, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), quotations, and tender documentation.
- Quantity Surveying: Conduct quantity take-offs, review construction drawings and specifications, and measure and value completed works.
- Contract Administration: Prepare contracts, interim and final valuations, invoices, variation orders, and claims.
- Cost & Budget Control: Monitor project expenditure, update cost forecasts, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support value engineering and feasibility studies.
- Procurement & Negotiation: Source construction materials, contractors, and subcontractors; negotiate competitive pricing and contractual terms.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with clients, architects, project managers, site engineers, design teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Claims & Risk Management: Evaluate subcontractor claims, manage variations, address contractual and financial issues, and advise on procurement and cost risks.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate project cost records, financial documentation, and compliance with company quality management procedures.
Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
