We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of web technologies, UI/UX principles, and experience in building responsive, high-performance websites.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins
- Build and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring high performance and availability
- Customize existing themes and plugins to meet business requirements
- Collaborate with designers and other developers to implement new features
- Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs
- Manage website updates, backups, and security
- Integrate third-party APIs and tools
- Ensure website compatibility across browsers and devices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer
- Strong proficiency in:
- PHP
- HTML5, CSS3
- JavaScript (jQuery preferred)
- Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development
- Familiarity with page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery)
- Understanding of MySQL databases
- Knowledge of website performance optimization and SEO best practices
- Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git)
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with WooCommerce development
- Knowledge of REST APIs and integrations
- Familiarity with hosting environments and cPanel
- Basic understanding of UX/UI design principles
- Experience with headless WordPress or modern frameworks (React, Vue)
