We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer responsible for both back\-end and front\-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of web technologies, UI/UX principles, and experience in building responsive, high\-performance websites.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins * Build and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring high performance and availability * Customize existing themes and plugins to meet business requirements * Collaborate with designers and other developers to implement new features * Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness * Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs * Manage website updates, backups, and security * Integrate third\-party APIs and tools * Ensure website compatibility across browsers and devices
**Required Skills \& Qualifications**
* Proven experience as a WordPress Developer * Strong proficiency in: * PHP * HTML5, CSS3 * JavaScript (jQuery preferred) * Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development * Familiarity with page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery) * Understanding of MySQL databases * Knowledge of website performance optimization and SEO best practices * Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) * Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with WooCommerce development * Knowledge of REST APIs and integrations * Familiarity with hosting environments and cPanel * Basic understanding of UX/UI design principles * Experience with headless WordPress or modern frameworks (React, Vue)
