Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) as per program specifications.
- Perform job setup, work offset setting, tool setting, and raw material clamping.
- Load/unload VMC programs and verify toolpaths prior to running components.
- Perform dimensional checks using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.) to ensure part quality.
- Monitor machine operations, cutting tool wear, and coolant levels.
- Coordinate closely with CAD/CAM Engineers to report program errors or machining issues.
Desired Profile / Skillset:
- Prior hands-on experience operating VMC machines in a manufacturing/tool room environment.
- Basic understanding of G-codes and M-codes.
- Ability to read precision measuring tools and basic engineering drawings.
