Job Overview
We are looking for experienced Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, and Applied Mathematics Experts with proven experience in competitive data science platforms such as Kaggle, DrivenData, Zindi, or similar competitions.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking, Python programming skills, mathematical reasoning, and hands-on experience solving complex ML challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Build reproducible data science and machine learning environments.
Develop reference solutions with reliable testing and validation.
Design challenging data science tasks with measurable outcomes.
Evaluate AI coding agents and investigate solution failures.
Identify data leakage, implementation errors, and incorrect assumptions.
Debug Python code and optimize ML solutions.
Document technical solutions, methodologies, and verification steps.
Mandatory Skills
✔ 7+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Quantitative Modeling.
✔ Practical Python programming and debugging experience.
✔ Strong mathematical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
✔ Experience participating in data science competitions.
✔ Ability to independently implement, test, and validate ML solutions.
✔ Updated LinkedIn profile. Preferred Competition Platforms
