#### **POSITION SUMMARY**

This position performs duties IAW DAFMAN 13\-204 V2\. In support of the Keesler AFB Air Field Management (AFM) mission. The AMOM provides AMS by establishing performance standards, procedures, and work priorities for personnel working in the AMOPS section in order to support aircrew and airfield management activities for safe, effective, and efficient airfield operations.

The AMOM shall provide AMS by establishing performance standards, procedures and work priorities for personnel working in the AMOPS section in order to support aircrew and airfield management activities to ensure safe, effective and efficient airfield environment. The AMOM shall comply with the duties and responsibilities listed in DAFMAN 13\-204 Volume 2 and applicable MAJCOM Supplements.

#### **ESSENTIAL FUNCTION STATEMENTS**

* Review and initial flight plans, traffic logs, daily record of events, NOTAMs and other supporting flight data information for accuracy, completeness and conformance with established directives. * Develop procedures to process NOTAMs in accordance with DAFI 11208\. * Create graphical NOTAMs to depict runway, taxiway and apron closures and restrictions on an airport map. * Develop backup procedures such as a LOP with another base to transmit NOTAMs. * Ensure procedures in local weather support directive include notifying AMOPs section of hazardous weather. * Ensure a Secondary Crash Net (SCN) is installed and operational. Develop primary and backup procedures for operation of the SCN and confirm operability tests are conducted and result documented on AF Form 3616 IAW DAFMAN 13204 V2\. * Develop a monthly duty schedule to ensure effective utilization of personnel working in the AMOPs section. * Develop and maintain current and accurate OIs, Quick Reaction Checklists (QRC), logs, etc. in the AMOPs section to perform AM activities and responsibilities. * Develop a shiftbriefing checklist or electronic equivalent. * Develop local procedures for using the AF IMT 3616 to record significant incidents/events during each tour of duty. * Develop procedures to determine and report RSC as required in DAFMAN 13204 V2\.

#### **Skills and Abilities**

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.

Vocational or Technical School Certification. Must meet the requirements outlined in DAFMAN 13\-204 V2 and AFMAN 13\-204 V1

Experience: At least two (2\) years supervisory experience executing AM duties that correlates to tasks in the NAMO PCG and duties described in AFI 13\-2014 Volume 2\.

Computer Skills: Basic Computer Skills

Certifications \& Airfield Management 7 level certification and USAF NAMO certification

Licenses: or civilian equivalent certification

Other Requirements: The AMOM shall work the AMOPs schedule and be available to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required. Other additional duties as assigned by Management

#### **Other Physical Requirements**

* Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) steeltoed shoes, hearing protection, hard hat, latex gloves, reflective vest/belt, yellow rain jacket

#### **WORK ENVIRONMENT**

* This position is in an office environment in a controlled atmospheric building. Exposure to all weather conditions when performing airfield inspections.
