THE BACKGROUND
For our client, a European Institution based in Strasbourg, France, we are looking for an experienced Security Specaialist to join a short-term mission in a major EU Institution, For the needs of the client, you can work remotely from anywhere in the EU. However, you will be required to meet the team on-site and travel occasionally.
More specifically, you will be responsible for…

Consultancy services to support the Agency's Information Security Officers in the management of information security and business continuity across organizational business processes and information systems.

Developing security controls in the context of the agency's information security framework.

Performing risk assessments.

Drafting security policies, standards, procedures and guidelines in accordance with ISO27001.

Developing security plans, BC plans and documentation (e.g., risk treatment plans, security test plans).

Developing business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
-
Performing security assessments and audits (incl. ISMS control audits and gap assessments).
-
Designing security controls in accordance with agency information security policies and standards.

Providing support in formal accreditation process for information systems handling EU sensitive and classified information.

Preparing documents such as reports, notes, letters, presentations, etc

Possession of a university degree.

6+ years of experience Security Management Specialist or equivalent
