About the Opportunity
We are an established custom millwork and cabinetry company seeking an entrepreneurial, tech-savvy Business Development Manager to independently develop and grow our commercial and residential project pipeline.
This is not a traditional showroom sales position. We are looking for a proactive sales professional who can leverage AI tools, automation, and modern prospecting strategies to identify opportunities, connect with decision-makers, develop relationships, and close profitable projects.
What You'll Do
- Build and manage an AI-assisted outbound sales and lead generation system.
- Identify commercial and residential opportunities through construction permits, tenders, industry networks, and targeted research.
- Prospect property managers, architects, designers, general contractors, facility managers, and business owners.
- Pursue projects involving commercial millwork, restaurant and hospitality interiors, medical and dental clinics, retail fit-outs, facility repairs, and residential cabinetry.
- Qualify leads, coordinate estimates and proposals, negotiate, and close contracts.
- Develop long-term relationships that generate repeat business.
- Work independently from our established showroom, using it as your business development office and client meeting space.
Who We're Looking For
- Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or construction-related sales.
- Strong prospecting, communication, negotiation, and closing abilities.
- Practical experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, CRM platforms, and sales automation software.
- Familiarity with construction, millwork, commercial interiors, or building materials is highly desirable.
- Self-directed, organized, resourceful, and comfortable working with minimal supervision.
- A results-oriented individual who takes ownership of opportunities from initial contact through signed contract.
