Job Summary:
KLAY is looking for a Legal Counsel to manage a wide range of legal matters, including litigation, compliance procedures, contracts, and regulatory affairs. The role will support the business by ensuring legal compliance, minimizing risks, and providing practical legal guidance across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements
- Manage litigation matters, represent the organisation in courts/tribunals, etc
- Coordinate with external expert counsels
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal policies
- Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders on business matters
- Maintain corporate legal records and support statutory filings
- Handle policy, regulatory, and government affairs
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and government bodies as required
Key Skills & Requirements:
- LLB/LLM degree from a recognized institution
- 6–10 years of relevant legal experience (open to any industry)
- Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate law, and compliance
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
