We build reliable, scalable pathways that make it easier for product engineers to develop, deploy, operate, and troubleshoot their services.&nbsp;</p> <h2><strong>What You Will Do</strong></h2> <p>As a Senior Software Engineer on the Infrastructure Platform team, you will work across a broad technical footprint, including AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes, distributed systems, observability, deployment tooling, and internal developer platforms.</p> <p>You will use your prior experience to understand how systems and services interact, identify gaps or sources of friction, and build platform capabilities that improve reliability and developer productivity.</p> <ul> <li>Design, build, and operate AWS-based cloud infrastructure and platform services.</li> <li>Create reusable internal platform capabilities that improve how engineers build, deploy, and operate services.</li> <li>Work across AWS, Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD, observability, and distributed systems.</li> <li>Partner with product engineering to identify recurring needs and turn them into scalable platform solutions.</li> <li>Evaluate system interactions, identify risks or inefficiencies, and drive improvements.</li> <li>Improve reliability, performance, availability, and maintainability of production systems.</li> <li>Define and promote platform practices (SLOs, monitoring, incident response, operational readiness).</li> <li>Instrument, debug, and improve services and infrastructure (including TypeScript services).</li> <li>Lead technical initiatives from problem definition through delivery and adoption.</li> <li>Communicate tradeoffs, risks, and progress to engineering stakeholders.</li> <li>Mentor engineers on building reliable, scalable systems.</li> <li>Participate in on-call and incident response.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>What You Will Bring to the Table</strong></h2> <ul> <li>5+ years of software or infrastructure engineering experience.</li> <li>Deep AWS experience in production environments.</li> <li>Experience with cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and system design.</li> <li>Experience building internal platforms, developer tooling, or shared services.</li> <li>Hands-on Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform a plus).</li> <li>Strong programming skills and ability to debug production systems (TypeScript a plus).</li> <li>Experience with CI/CD and automated deployment workflows.</li> <li>Experience with observability (metrics, logs, traces, alerting, SLOs).</li> <li>Ability to reason across complex systems and understand cross-component interactions.</li> <li>Experience leading technical initiatives with multiple stakeholders.</li> <li>Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Location Requirement:</strong><br>This role is open to candidates located in British Columbia or Ontario, Canada. At this time, we are only able to hire employees residing in these provinces.</p> <p>____</p> <p><em data-stringify-type="italic">The estimated annual cash salary for this role is CAD $123,750 - CAD $165,000.
