**Job Overview**

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Duty Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional guest service abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of hotel management. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring high standards of service, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all guests. Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to facilitate effective communication with diverse clientele. The Duty Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations and delivering an outstanding guest experience.

**Responsibilities**

* Oversee the daily functioning of the hotel, ensuring all departments operate efficiently and effectively. * Supervise and support team members, providing guidance and leadership to maintain high standards of service. * Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and courtesy. * Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure the property is well\-maintained and guest needs are met promptly. * Assist in managing reservations, check\-ins, and check\-outs to optimise guest satisfaction. * Monitor safety procedures and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across the premises. * Support human resources functions including staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations. * Ensure all operational procedures adhere to company policies and standards. * Promote a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.

**Skills**

* Proven supervising experience within the hospitality or hotel industry. * Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams. * Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour. * Multilingual or bilingual proficiency is highly advantageous for effective communication with international guests. * Knowledge of human resources practices relevant to staff management and development. * Experience in hotel operations or hospitality management is preferred. * Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure. * Strong problem\-solving abilities coupled with excellent communication skills.
