Lead – Infrastructure, Cloud & Enterprise Technology

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Infrastructure & Cloud Technology Leader to own and drive the organization's IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, enterprise security, workplace technology, and modern/AI-ready infrastructure.
The role will be responsible for building a secure, scalable and highly available technology environment while partnering with business and customer-facing teams on infrastructure solutions, technology procurement and technical solutioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Own infrastructure strategy, architecture, implementation and day-to-day operations.
- Manage enterprise servers, storage, virtualization, Windows/Linux environments and data center infrastructure.
- Design and manage AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud environments, including hybrid cloud infrastructure.
- Drive cloud migration, modernization, governance, security and cost optimization.
- Manage enterprise networking including LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, firewalls and internet connectivity.
- Oversee infrastructure security, IAM, endpoint security, vulnerability management, patching and incident response.
- Lead backup, disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives.
- Drive infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell/Python and other relevant tools.
- Support modern infrastructure and AI initiatives including GPU infrastructure, Kubernetes, Docker and AI workloads.
- Manage IT operations, monitoring, service levels, infrastructure KPIs and asset lifecycle.
- Work with customers and internal teams to understand infrastructure requirements and prepare solution architectures, technical proposals, sizing and BOMs.
- Manage technology procurement and negotiate with OEMs, cloud providers, distributors and system integrators.
- Lead vendor relationships, contracts, AMCs, licensing and commercial negotiations.
- Provide technical leadership to Infrastructure/IT Operations teams and work closely with Engineering, Security, Product and Business teams.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
- 10–15+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading Infrastructure / IT Operations.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure and GCP.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and virtualization.
- Experience with VMware/Hyper-V, storage, backup and disaster recovery.
- Strong enterprise networking knowledge – Cisco, Fortinet, SD-WAN, VPN, firewalls and Wi-Fi.
- Experience with cloud security, IAM and endpoint security.
- Exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, GPU/AI infrastructure is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Terraform/Ansible, PowerShell/Python and infrastructure automation.
- Experience in vendor management, procurement and commercial negotiations.
- Experience creating technical proposals, infrastructure architectures and BOMs.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving and team leadership skills.
