Maintenance Section Head – Assembly Line Maintenance

Experience: Minimum 8 years
Education: B.E. in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Section Head to lead the maintenance operations of the Assembly Line.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical/electronic engineering and hands-on experience in maintaining complex assembly line equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage maintenance activities for assembly line equipment.
- Ensure high equipment uptime and quick response to breakdowns.
- Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
- Implement and monitor safety systems , including LOTO, work permits, and confined space protocols.
- Drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain documentation and compliance, and Track and improve maintenance KPIs such as MTTR, MTBF, and equipment uptime.
- Manage and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and engineers.

Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of PLC systems and components.
- Proven experience in assembly shop maintenance.
- Proficiency in maintenance metrics – MTTR, MTBF, Uptime, RCA, CAPA.
- Effective maintenance planning and execution.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
Soft Skills & Attributes:
- Excellent communication skills in English and Tamil (written and spoken).
