We are an exclusive, premium 25 seat privatespace in Sandton. We currently operate an upscale, quiet daytime workspace for corporate executives. We are seeking a dedicated, Floor Manager to completely own our front-of-house operations, guest relations, and service standards.
Unlike traditional corporate restaurant groups with grueling 14-hour split shifts, this role offers a structured footprint inside an intimate, high-end environment. You will have full operational oversight of a lean team consisting of a Solo Chef, a Lead Barista, and a Cleaner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Experience: Welcome corporate clients and VIP guests paying our upfront service charge, manage private bookings, and curate a premium, peaceful ambiance.
- Team Leadership: Set daily shift schedules, manage performance, and enforce immaculate service and hygiene standards for the Barista, Chef, and Cleaner.
- Stock & Logistics: Conduct weekly inventory audits for premium glassware, artisanal coffees, and soft drinks. Manage logistics and relationships with local premium suppliers.
- Administrative Precision: Oversee the point-of-sale (POS) system, manage daily cash-ups, and report directly to the Owner.
What We Are Looking For:
- 3 to 5 years of stable experience as a Shift Supervisor, Floor Manager, or Assistant Restaurant Manager
- Exceptional personal presentation, meticulous grooming, and highly articulate communication skills suited for a Sandton executive clientele.
- An independent self-starter who thrives running an intimate floor single-handed during quiet hours and orchestrating team dynamics during busy private corporate functions.
- Must live in or have highly reliable, punctual transport to Sandton.
Pay: R10 000,00 - R12 000,00 per month
